Crew Leader of the Year

Congratulations….congratulations!!!……to Mohd Muzammil Bin Mohamed Mydin from McDonalds Greenlane because has been selected to attend bi-annual McDonald’s Worldwide Owner/Operator Convention in Orlando, Florida this coming April 2010. Mohd Muzammil has been selected from 9 short-listed crew leaders across Malaysia. The selected crew leaders were chosen based on their excellent track record and impressed interpersonal skills. Based on interview session with a selected Panel, Mohd Muzammil was chosen to experience this once-in-a-life time opportunity.
Starting as a crew on 4th January 2006 in McDonald's Greenlane then been promoted as core crew once the company launch the core crew program. After a month, Puan Suriani Othman (Store Manager Greenlane) promoted his become core Crew Leader effective 1st August 2007. He very happy about this position and feel McDonalds value his contribution in company.
For him, as a crew leader its more challenging because he need to be more responsible and professionally in all matter and task that delegated by the manager.He very proud and thankful because entire manager and team of Greenlane always give support and motivation in all matter and situation.
From support, teamwork and motivation, he become more industrious worker and being patient in handling the duty. He also do the best to solve the problem in a professional way. Hopefully this convention will bring more experience and knowledge for him to adapt in life and working days

Today i requested for Bfast Special n Hash Brown (Ala Carte), but the staff at the counter suggested me BFAST MCVALUE MEAL. It was good to accpet a choice provided its a good deal, but at the end i have to spend extra 85cents for the same menu.
Normally the order i make is Bfast Special (RM 4.20) + Hash Brown (ala carte) = Total : RM 7.05 (including tax n service charge)
While the Bfast Mc Value Meal = comes with the same 3 item (Mc Muffin+Coffee+Hash Brown) for RM 7.90 (including tax n service charge)
Either the wise choices is good, or the changes in item or price should be considerate.
Anyway, MD staff are always so cheer to welcome US.....TQ ;-)

McDonald’s Greenlane as an early bird celebrate “ A Very Merry Christmas Party with Ronald McDonld “ and Colouring Contest on 12th Dec 2009.


Before the show time date, all the team start the preparation for the party. On the 9th Dec 2009, Kartina, Suhana, Fatin and Lorna doing the decoration at the staircase, by using the Green and Red cloths with the Gold and Silver ribbon around the staircase, Christmas tree at lower lobby and spray the snow spray at the window at Training Room and Party Room as window decal to create the awareness of the show.

On the 11th Dec 2009, the deco teams move to the Training Room to do the decoration ( Show time held at Training Room ). The ceiling is hang with red and white snow, gold Christmas tree and with white cloth as decoration, we also set up a nice and special back drop ( idea by Kartina ) the back drop is also using the green and red cloth. On top of the back drop with white snow and gold wording “ A Very Merry Christmas with Ronald McDonald “ ( wording is done by William ).

Now, come to the day for the show time, 12th Dec 2009. At 9:00am all the team stand by at McDonald Greenlane, helping by CSM and STARs ( Nazrol and Aswani - #174, Yuhana - #181), SMs and Manager ( Samantha - #54, Chee Beng - # 219, Mazlina - #190, Day Nee and Kelly - #150) to do the last touch up and preparation for the colouring contest, face painting and balloon scrupting. By the time of 9:30am, registration for the colouring contest of Category A and Category B. ( category A – 30 pax, category B – 15 pax ), colouring contest start at 10:30am and end at 11:30am.

At 12:00 noon, all the kids very happy and excited because their idol, Uncle Ronald McDonald is coming down to town. 10 minutes later, our chiefs of Happiness start the show time by playing 2 games with all the kids. Before end of the show, Ronald has a photo session with the kids and cutting the cake with them.

KURSUS OPERASI KETUA KREW McDONALD’S - PENANG ISLAND

Pada 23hb dan 24hb November 2009, bertempat di Bilik Latihan McDonald’s Pulau Pinang telah diadakan “Kursus Operasi Ketua Crew ” untuk semua Ketua Krew di bahagian Pulau Pinang iaitu merangkumi dari OC Hong Chin dan Eng Chew.Seramai 16 Ketua Krew telah menghadiri kursus ini.

Kursus intensif operasi ketua krew ini telah diadakan selama dua hari bermula dari jam 9.00 pagi hingga ke 5.00 petang setiap hari.Selama dua hari ini semua ketua krew di latih dan di ajar untuk lebih memahami 7 asas (7 Foundation’s), Komunikasi, Tanggungjawab Ketua Crew,Keselamatan Makanan, Penghantaran Kualiti Makananan yang tebaik kepada pelanggan dan Latihan di dalam McDonald’s.
Selepas di ajar dan di latih dengan elemen-elemen itu semua ketua krew menjalani ujian pada hari terakhir kursus ini. Dan keputusan yang boleh dibanggakan apabila keseluruhannya lulus dengan cemerlang. Ini bermakna semua ketua krew memberi perhatian yang penuh di dalam kursus ini untuk di aplikasikan di restoren-restoren mereka.Dan kesemua mereka telah gradute dengan cemerlang dalam kursus ini. Tahniah buat semua Ketua Krew!

It's Party time again! This year El's MM celebrated it with a A Go Go theme!

Going back all the ways to the 60's.

It was non-stop Food, Folks and Fun! Awards, awards and more awards! Yeah, it's that time of the year, rite?!

The team took some time to prep for dance performances and it was simply enjoyable just watching them perform. We actually have some hidden talents among us!

We had the honor of Mel, Kart, Soo Cheng, Hong Chin and Eng Chew spending their precious time gracing our occasion.

Ants think “winter” all summer. Summer will not last forever. Ants spend their summers gathering food for the winter and building their house that will keep them safe during the cold winter.

Imagine what we could accomplish if we never quit and always do all that we can do!
