McDonald's Pandu Lalu Bandar Perda telah mengadakan perasmian pada 11 April 2010 yang lepas.Ia telah dirasmikan oleh Pengurus Operasi iaitu
Pn Melanie Lim dan Ronald McDonald.Acara perasmian ini diserikan lagi dengan persembahan kebudyaan,kompang,silat,tarian singa dan persembahan dari tadika-tadika yang berhampiran.
Di samping itu juga badan-badan kerajaan seperti Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat dan Jabatan Pengangkutan jalan Pulau Pinang telah berbesar hati untuk membuat pameran pada hari tersebut.
Tidak ketinggalan kempen derma darah turut diadakn oleh Hospital Seberang Jaya dan dapat mengumpul sebayanyak 29 orang penderma.Pada kali ini McDonald's Pandu Lalu Bandar Perda
telah mencatatkan sejarah apabila seramai 120orang peserta telah mengambil bahagian dalam pertandingan mewarna.Ronald McDonald's House Charity (RMHC) turut menyampaikan sumbangan
berupa wang tunai RM2000 dan beg sekolah kepada 9 kanak-kanak dari Sekolah Sinar Harapan Bukit Mertajam,Pulau Pinang.Kami dari pihak pengurusan McDonald's Pandu Lalu Bandar Perda
mengucapkan jutaan terima kasih kepada semua Perunding-perunding Operasi,Pengurus-pengurus dan juga krew-krew yang telah membantu kami dalam menjayakan acara ini.

I just wanted to take a few minutes to congratulate all of you for a fantastic, awesome Grand Opening today ! (OK ... yesterday by the time you guys read this !)
I must say that I was pleasantly surprised to witness first-hand how the community really came out in support of our G.O. (Man, there were so many customers ! And a record-breaking 120 coloring contest participants .. wow !)
We have proven once again that regardless of whether we have a VIP attending,regardless of how hot the weather, how short the timeline and how many things we have on our Do List ... we NEVER fail to pull off successful events such as today's.
And as cliched as this may sound, each time we achieve the success we did today, the only thought that consistently runs through my mind is truly "None of us is as good as ALL of us".
So, it is with utmost pride that I write this email to tell each and every one of you ... crew,managers,Stars,CSMs,SMs,OCs and Kartina ... SYABAS on another outstanding event today !
3 Cheers for Azemah,Wati and her team for the preparation and hard work, Namat for a shift well-run, Ronald for being Ronald (how could we NOT have fun with Ronald around) and most of all, the unsung heroes of the day ... all those of you who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the smooth running of the entire event led by our very own NDT Cheerstarz Captain Kartina (hip hip hurray !)
Thank you for all that you contributed towards an unforgettable event today ! All of you looked great too by the way ... with your personalized NDT T-shirts ;)
