Time has come for us to meet again in yet another Quarterly Meet. We did EggtraOrdinariLy well for our 1st Qtr. We definitely set ourselves a very Strong Start for the 1st Qtr. Good Job to the Team!
Time to Widen the Lead! Thru our Families,Breakfast,Value and Conveniences by making sure all our customers are served with FAF service.
Even though we are doing very good Comps for GCs, but during lunch peak we need to pick up the speed.
So this goes out to the team to ensure all our FAF action plan are carried out without fail!
Well done again to 1st Qtr and continue to be Greater in Qtr 2.

We were updated on the 2009 Company's Plan and WPR Parameters.
The highlight of the meeting was the "Yee Sang Party" sponsored by El and also the giving away of "Lo Kam" as this is an early celebration in-lieu of the coming Chinese New Year!
On 13 January 2009, we held our first quarterly parcel meeting for Mini Market Gurney under our OC, Mr.Eng Chew LimChuah. This first meeting were conducted at Training Room,McDonaldsGreenlane. All managers from 5 stores (Sunrise,Greenlane,Midlands,CaltexFarlim and Prangin Mall) attended the meeting.
The purposes for this meeting is to update all managers on last year results and performance for all store under Gurney mini market. Besides,this year targets and parameters for company also were been explained by Mr.Eng Chew. Target for all stores are achieving comps sales14% and guest count 10%.
This coming promotions McValue Lunch starting from 12pm-3pm were explained by Mr.Eng Chew. Hopefully this new attractive promotion will bring more customers to all McDonald's outlet.

Managers to fully understand company targets and cascade down to all crew. Work hard and together with shoulder to shoulder making sure Northern Dream Team will be successful becoming one of profit center that contribute to more sales and guest count to our company.
At the Auditorium of Dewan Sri, Kompleks Perbandaran Putrajaya,Precinct 3 on 28th Aug, DRUM ROLL please …. once again,our Northern Dream Team played to WIN !
And W-I-N we did - the McChant Challenge .... and with integrity too which makes me the proudest of all :) It was a fantastic showcasing of our face-painting,hair-designing,make-up,cheering and clapping skills!
Boys’ faces were painted a bright green zig-zag lightning design with a green shimmering bandana while we girls had a little glitter star each on our left cheeks and a ribbon in our hair! Lots of ribbons on our wrists and not forgetting our Team green T-shirt and track pants.
More importantly, it was a fantastic display of unity and a classic example of "If you think you can, you can!" Just a day before, we were all rehearsing desperately with many among us frustrated for various reasons ... some think they are too old to learn to synchronize their mouths and hands (yeah,can you imagine?!) ... some were wondering why we were putting ourselves thru this ... some must have been thinking 'aiya,so last minute again' ... some even tried to hide at the back !
But at the end of the day - with less than 6 total hours of practice - we as a Team put on a great show that would have had NO ONE believing that we had had so little practice time!
So ... Congratulations to all of us ! Go ..o..o... o...o Northern!
By the way,Azmir pulled off a drum show with Heads of Dept leading the floor in the Company Cheers and if I may say so,he did a splendid job on the drums! Of course, we did great too for the Company Cheers that we hardly had time to learn hehehe …
I must not forget to say a Special thanks to Kartina for her dedication and commitment in rising to this challenge & captaining our team to Cheer for Gold once again ... Well Done!
As for everyone else, thank you for sacrificing your sleep,putting up with me and my high expectations,spending your time secretly practising at home,in your rooms, in the coach,the coffee house,following the dress code and ultimately, not letting the team down ... Thank You!
By the way, we got Green Nail Polish but totally forgot about it ... anyone wants to buy for Charity ?!
On 7th Apr, Elena's Mini Market met up for the 2nd time this year for our Quarterly Meet.
We started off with reviewing 1st quarter results for the mini maket .... Mystery Shopper reaults came in great as all stores in El's mini market scored 98% and above.
We continued with our Mini Market focus on 2nd quarter - stressing the point that we are now "Picking Up Speed".
As usual we had Makan-Makan which was sponsored by our lovely OC - El (as she was awarded 2007 Outstanding OC!!!) There were loads and loads of food with teh tarik!
We were also trained on Hotcakes procedures and all got to grab a bite of yummy Hotcakes!
To create excitement for our very own People, we introduced "Manager of the Month" program within the Mini Market - this idea was shared with other OCs who all decided to carry out the same program.

Perjumpaan semua pengurus suku pertama bagi kawasan Elena Khoo telah diadakan pada 14 Jan 2008 di McD Juru.
Pembentangan yang berlangsung selama 3 jam ini meliputi semua keputusan prestasi 2007 dan matlamat untuk 2008 iaitu Go For Gold.
Perjumpaan ini dirasmikan oleh Perunding Operasi kami yang disayangi .... Elena Khoo dan seterusnya pembentangan setiap agenda oleh pengurus restoran secara bergilir-gilir.
Secara amnya semua pengurus memberi impak dan tindak balas positif dalam setiap pembentangan agenda.
Pada akhir perjumpaan telah berlangsung pertandingan Hot Ham untuk 5 "Crew of the Year" untuk tahun 2007. Hadiah sebanyak RM800 dan trophy diberikan kepada pemenang iaitu Yahya dari McD Juru DT.
Jutaan terima kasih pada semua yang terlibat dalam menjayakan perjumpaan suku pertama ini secara langsung atau tidak.
