#295 Lake Garden DT

On 14th Dec 2015, With the collaboration with the Ministry of Public Welfare, McDonald’s Lake Garden DT was able to successfully organise an event one of it’s branch which is “Pusat Aktiviti Kanak-Kanak” or known as PAKK. Some activities are colouring contest, games and food distribution. The ministry ambassador which also attended the event, gave us her full support and encourage us to do the events more often. She noted that event like this will help us build more relationship with the community.

#174 Juru DT Morning Car Free

Grassroot by McDonald's Juru DT on 6th Dec 2015. This event is tie in with PWDC (Penang Women Development Corporation) – end violence against women and Celebrate MPSP car free at Bandar Sunway Seberang Jaya. The event have a lot activity such as colouring competition, aerobic, musical performance and etc. We sponsored HM for the kids and set up booth to sell the RMHC socks.

#116 Megamall Prai Visitation to PDK Prai

Dated 2nd Dec 2015, Megamall Prai Hosted a visitation to Pusat Pemulihan Dalam Komuniti or as known as PDK. The event was organized with conjunction from people in Ministry of welfare. We were introduced with the purpose of the house and why it was build. We then finished the event with the house tour.

#234 Taiping Sentral Majlis Berkhatan

On 23rd November 2015, McDonald’s Taiping Sentral has hold and Grass Root event with the collaboration with Hopital Besar Taiping to celebrate around 80 kids that will perform “Majlis Berkhatan”. The event was helped by all Customer Service Ambassador in Taiping MM area which is McDonald’s Taiping Lake Garden and McDonald’s Simpang. Conduct some games with the kids to cheer them up. The Hospital forward us their appreciation for our donation and teamwork during the event.

#301 Tesco Alma DT Deepavali with Orphanage Kids

Grassroot by McDonald's Tesco Alma & join with Tesco Alma On 5th Nov 2015. This event is to Celebrate Deepavali with the Orphanage Kids at Tesco Alma. Around 20 kids and we are giving away Happy Meal for the kids. Around 20 kids and we are giving away Happy Meal for the kids.

#234 Taiping Sentral Balai Bomba Kamunting

With great anticipation, McDonald’s Taiping Sentral held a GRA activities with the Firefighters Kamunting Station. The event was held on 8th Oct 2015 with the mindset of interacting with the nearby community service. Speech was given by the chairman from the station and miss Mimi Normah as RGM from Taiping Sentral. Food was distributed to the staff and then we were invited to a station and trying out a few activities such as Axel ling, fire pole slide and a ride in the fire engine. We the end the event by thanking the station for it’s generosity and activity

#174 Juru DT Klinik Kesihatan

Grass Root By McDonald's Juru DT with Klinik Kesihatan at Bukit Minyak on 7th October 2015. This event is to make connection with area community . We are giving away McChicken & 4 pcs McNugget. We then provided with free health check and clinic tour.

#174 Juru DT Coloring Contest Mid Autumn Festival

GrassRoot By McDonald's Juru DT & join with Auto City Management On 19th Sept 2015. This event is to Celebrate Mid Autumn Festival with the kids. Around 106 kids joint coloring contest and give 106 Happy Meal Chicken Burger

#295 Lake Garden DT Visitation to Rumah Tahfizah

On 17th September 2015, McDonald’s Lake Garden DT organised a visitation to a local religious facilities in our trading area dedicated in teaching the ways of Islam for the community, emphasizing in memorizing Al-Quran. The house take around 30 female students aged between 7-15 Years old. RGM of LGDT, Mr Adli was given the chance to explain our Story to the house teachers and pupils and received a warm welcome from them.

#278 McDonald’s Simpang DT Visitation to Rumah Warga Tua KP

On 28th August 2015, McDonald’s Simpang DT has organised a GRA event with Rumah Warga Tua KP. We were able to do some activities such as house tour and elderly people there. Simpang RGM, Mimi Normah was given the opportunity to give some speech and noted that the event will help us get closer to the community.

#234 Taiping Sentral Rumah Anak Yatim Nurul Iman

On 27th August 2015, McDonald’s Taiping Sentral visit the Rumah Anak Yatim Nurul Iman at Kampung Pinang. The purpose of the visit is to get close to the community of Taiping area as a part of McDonald Grassroot activities. The orphanage there was treated with McDonalds food and some games form our CSA from Taiping area. The orphanage kids there was happy with our visits and ask us the come again.

#116 Megamall Prai Visitation To Orphanage House Permata Kasih

McDonald’s Megamall Prai was given the opportunity to celebrate children’s day with the unfortunate kids in the nearby area with the visit to “Rumah Anak Yatim Permata Kasih” located in Taman Pauh Bukit Mertajam. In the event, we celebrate the kids birthday and play games with the kids there. Afterwards food was distributed among the kids and we ended the event with the house tour from the kids and teachers.

McCafe Mother's Day 2014

To celebrate this special day, a McCafe Mother’s Day Card is to be distributed specially to all mums in the store. Each card has a cut-out coupon offer a FREE Mocha (8oz) with any Happy Meal purchase, valid only on 10th & 11th May 2014. McDonald’s Caltex Sunway telah mengadakan aktiviti Hari Ibu untuk Ibu-Ibu pelanggan di restoran kami. Kami menyambut Hari Ibu bersama keluarga dan anak-anak pelanggan. Hiasan balloon telah menghidupkan suasana Hari Ibu kepada pelanggan kami. Kami mengambil kesempatan ini juga menyambut hari ibu bersama dengan manager dan crew direstoran kami.

Anugerah Restoran Makanan Segara Terbersih - McDonald's Greenlane

Sempena sambutan Hari Penjaja & Komuniti Peniaga Tahun 2013 yang dianjurkan oleh Majlis Perbandaran Pulau Pinang, restoran kami telah memenangi tempat Pertama dalam Kategori Restoran Makanan Segera terbersih peringkat negeri, diikuti tempat Kedua – KFC Batu lanchang dan tempat Ketiga – Subway Lebuh Pantai. Majlis sambutan ini telah diadakan di Ballroom Sri Mas, Hotel Bayview pada 18 November 2013. Sijil penghargaan dianugerahi oleh Timbalan Ketua Menteri 1 Pulau Pinang, YB Dato' Haji Mohd. Rashid Bin Hasnon yang diiringi oleh Yang Di-Pertua Majlis Perbandaran Pulau Pinang, Dato Patahiyah Binti Ismail. Sijil penghargaan dianugerah kepada premis-premis pemenag mesti mematuhi syarat-syarat, kehendak-kehendak dan Undang-Undang yang ditetapkan demi menjaga imej masyarakat penjaja dan negara. Majlis Perbandaran Pulau Pinang juga berharap masyarakat penjaja mengambil langkah-langkah untuk meningkatkan keadaan kebersihan, keindahan dan keceriaan premis serta pemeliharaan alam sekitar termasuklah dalam hal-hal pengendalian makanan dan penggunaan bahan-bahan bungkusan makanan yang “environmental friendly”. Warga penjaja upaya tidak menggunakan bekas polystrene dan sebaliknya menggunakan bahan alternatif yang biodegradable selaras dengan Kempen Cleaner Greener Penang bagi mencapai status negeri bertaraf antarabangsa. Selain itu, penjaja juga hendaklah menentukan kualiti produk jualan pada harga yang berpatutan kepada pengguna tempatan, berniaga berlesen, menjalankan pemeriksaan kesihatan (Typhoid), memakai apron dan topi, mengamalkan tabiat baik ketika pengendalian , premis yang bertanggungjawab dan memelihara kebersihan dan peraturan dan lain-lain lagi.

#181 Family Marketing (Smurf)

McDonald’s Caltex Sunway Prai telah mengadakan family aktiviti smurf. Pada hari1 9-2013 jam pukul 9am. Peserta yang menyertai adalah dari Sekolah Kebangsaan Bandar Tasek Mutiara(orang kurang upaya)Jumlah peserta menyertai adalah seramai 27orang, cikgu 12orang.Semua peserta seronok dan bersemangat untuk membuat aktiviti.
