Aha ! Christmas came late ...... just for the sake of poking fun at each other and finding ways to spend money, we organized a Gift Exchange to coincide with this month's meeting. We had fun trying to figure out what the gifts could be used for and everyone had to share what they were going to do with their gift! The most popular (and "creative") gift ? A MUG lah ! The most unisex,useful,easy-to-buy item Hah!Each OC also got a token of appreciation from Mel for their contribution towards the PC's results last year.
Our guests this time round were Alexia (Business Insights),Dominic Tan (BOTH Dominics visited us this February) and Sherona. They shared with us an informational session on Northern Region business review. Topics covered were
1. Overall Sales performance of Northern vs other region.
2. Key sales drivers for Northern - by states,initiative and store types.
3. Sales performance of Initiatives for Northern region vs other regions.
4. Ops measurement - CSO - comparison of the regions
5. P&L
As usual, we also had quiz on Performance Drivers and some more English words to add to our vocabulary! We showed Mel that we remembered some words but we still need to improve on some :-(
