Farewell Party for Jessica #25 CSM

Good bye and see you again….Grace Jessica Axelia!!!.Hope you will always remember all of us in Greenlane and wish you success in whatever you do and happy always!

We here, will always miss you!!!..
On 20th November 2008,our Management Team of McD Greenlane and Kak Kartina organized a surprised farewell party for Jessica ( McD Greenlane Customer Service Manager).She resigned from her position 1st December 2008. She make this decision because she need to moved to Australia following her husband who is working there. Deep in her heart she will always miss McD Greenlane.

On that day,our OM Melanie Lim, our OC Eng Chew Lim Chuah, Teoh Hong Chin and Elena Khoo joined us to give moral support and last word and motivation to Mrs Jessica.
Jessica started work at McD Greenlane as a crew before she was promoted to Full Time STAR and then to CSM. She is very hardworking,cheerful and always give full support for what ever event McD Greenlane organise. She is always around when customer give positive or negative feedback for McD Greenlane to improve. Besides,she is very supportive and give full helping hand when we need her help.We will miss you!!!……
Last but not least,from all Management Team of McD Greenlane and Crew…..millions of thank you for all you have done and sorry for everthing. May GOD always bless you!!!.

Azemah's Area Crew Year End Party

Pada tanggal 19 November 2008,Azemah mini market telah mengadakan Crew Year End Party di Hotel Star City.
Suasana bertambah hangat apabila semua krew dan pengurus termasuk OC kami datang dengan berpakaian yang bertemakan ala coboi dan apache.
Acara menjadi lebih heboq bila krew dan pengurus begitu sporting membuat persembahan Move it Move It Dance, Dikir Barat dan Hip Hop Dance...
Tidak ketinggalan penghargaan diberi kepada krew dan pengurus yang cemerlang sepanjang tahun 2008.Tidak lupa jugak kami memberi anugerah servis tahunan kepada krew yang berkhidmat selama 1 tahun,3 tahun dan 5 tahun.
Persembahan terbaik dimenangi oleh krew store Central Square.
Untuk pertama kalinya pada tahun 2008 kami bergabung dengan store Central Square...Walaupun jauh berpuluh-puluh kilometer namun kami
tersangat enjoy...dan we will keep this sweet memory..

Bayan Baru Mini Market Crew Year End Party

‘Annual Dinner’ Hong Chin’s area yang disertai oleh store Sunshine square, Desa U , KBJ, Prangin Mall, Tesco dan Queensbay Mall telah diadakan dengan gilang gemilang pada 17 November 2008 bertempat di dewan ‘Stallion”, Bukit Dumbar, Pulau Pinang. Acara tersebut bermula dari pukul 7 petang sehinggalah 12 tengah malam yang bertemakan hijau putih. Kesemua kru, manager dan VIP yang hadir segak bergaya dengan pelbagai pakaian yang berwarna hijau putih. Pelbagai acara telah diadakan termasuklah pemberian sijil penghargaan kepada kru yang bekerja selama 1 tahun, 3 tahun, 5 tahun dan 10 tahun, persembahan tarian dan nyanyian yang disertai oleh kelima-lima store dan juga pelbagai “games” di mainkan. Acara tersebut juga telah diserikan dengan persembahan live band yang menyampaikan pelbagai jenis lagu yang mengasyikkan. Emcee pada malam itu juga dapat menarik perhatian dengan keletahnya yang menghiburkan kesemua kru.
Selain itu Haliza Basir (MFY konsultan) dan Melissa dari HQ turut serta bergembira dan menyerikan malam tersebut.

Prai Mini Market - Crew Year End Party

Pada 10 November 2008 bertempat di Stallion Apartment Function Room telah berlangsung ‘CREW ANNUAL DINNER’ untuk mini market Elena Area. Majlis pada malam tersebut bertemakan ‘Hitam & Merah’.

Majlis di meriahkan lagi dengan kehadiran Operation Manager-Mrs. Melanie Lim yang anggun sekali dengan dress warna merah dan operation consultant- Eng Chew, Hong Chin, Pc trainer- Soo Cheng dan LSM executive- Kartina Ramli.

Majlis pada malam tersebut amat meriah sekali dengan pelbagai acara nyanyian, tarian dan persembahan yang amat menghiburkan hati daripada artis-artis terkenal Mc Donald. Nampaknya mereka bukan sahaja handal dalam bidang makanan malahan amat berbakat dalam bidang nyayian dan tarian.(Nampaknya artis malaysia selepas ni tak dapat cari makanlah..). Tahniah diucapkan kepada Siva dan Stanley dari McD Megamal, Pinang yang berjaya memukau hati para penonton dan memenangi persembahan terbaik para malam tersebut . Kepada yang lain sila cuba lagi di tahun hadapan.Persembahn anda memang DEBOOM la…Caya lah..

Tidak lupa juga anugerah King & Queen of the night dimenangi oleh Mohd Anuar dari McD JJ (King) dan Rorlizawati dari McD Caltex DT( Queen control)-upp sorie Ros ..Queen of the night. Pada malam tersebut juga pelbagai award telah dianugerahkan kepada crew yang telah berkhidmat selama 1 tahun, 3 tahun dan 5 tahun. Terimakasih diucapkan diatas kesetiaan anda. Kami amat menghargai kesetiaan anda bersama kami!!!

Akhir sekali, acara potong kek untuk Pengurus dan crew yang lahir pada bulan November & December. ‘Happy Birthday’ !!! kepada anda semua. (kepada yang telah dihumban ke dalam kolam…jangan mare…kita akan humban anda lagi pada tahun hadapan…beramai-ramai…haaaa…haaa).

Hingga berjumpa lagi pada Annual Dinner tahun hadapan 2009.

GURNEY MINI MARKET YEAR END DINNER 2008

Eng Chew area Year End Party with the theme Gold Glamorous held at Stallion Apartment on 10 November 2008. Every crew and manager came with their most creative way to win the title’ The Best Dress ‘of the night ( many blink blink lo.. kaka..)
The party begin at 7pm, and each register to their manager representative at registration corner. As usual, the party will begin speech from our beloved OC,Mr.Eng Chew Lim Chuah and then continue with ‘makan-makan’ time ( makan dulu, baru ada energy untuk main.. haha!!) accompany with the performance by the band from Event Management Sdn Bhd. and also attach together with the slide about our Crew Olympic track and field pictures. Also not forgotten, the attendance from Melanie ( OM ), Kartina ( LSM ), Elena ( OC ) and Hong Chin ( OC )
Next continue by the performance and games organized by event management . All crews and managers ( including store manager, haha!! ) participate in the games. There are also 2 performance ‘ slip in ‘ during the game session. That is performance from #25 Greenlane, by Mimi with her sweet voice on Siti Nurhaliza’s song duet together with one of the band’s member and the dance titlt ‘Move it! Move it!’ by William , Angelene, Carol and Eina.
Continued by recognition on crews’ and managers service by presenting Service Award to those who had completed 3, 5, and 10 years service. Congrats guys and girls!!
Last but the most waited part in the party, the Best Dress of the night title, won by Fiza (#219 Caltex Farlim) and Jeree ( #25 Greenlane ). Congratulation again and its celebration time!!!! The most ‘crazy’ part in the party came, the free dance time and it’s the end of the party. Before leaving, all taken a picture of memory and it end at around 1 hour before 2400.. Hehe.. Lastly, a thousand of thanks to the management team to prepared the fun party for us.. GO FOR GOLD!!!

Community Event - RMHC M'sia

In the midst of the bleak weather and the prospects of being away from home, RMHC Malaysia with the help of the McDonald's Star Parade outlet recently brought cheer to the Kedah flood victims, especially children.

Azemah, our dear OC for the Kedah stores led a team of volunteers to the flood relief centre at Sekolah Kebangsaan Gunung Keriang on Sunday 26th October 2008 to distribute McDonald's meals of McNuggets, French Fries and drinks to 250 children that made the school their temporary home. We also donated some mattresses on the store's own initiative.

A special THANK YOU to Azemah and her wonderful team for all the help rendered - you guys have done a great job!

Memori Indah Di Genting Highlands

Tanah Tinggi Genting (Genting Highlands) ... tempat penuh keriangan menjadi destinasi kedua kami setelah muncul sebagai naib juara dalam Drive-Thru Challenge 2008. Tidak semua mampu ke sana kerana kesibukan kerja, tetapi kami kakitangan McD Greenlane telah mendapat peluang keemasan untuk bercuti di sana selama dua hari satu malam. Semua penat lelah dan usaha kami sebelum, semasa, dan selepas pertandingan terbalas jua akhirnya.

Pada tanggal 20hb Oktober 2008,kami bertolak dengan sebuah bas tepat 7 pagi - seramai 44 orang krew dan pengurus mengikuti rombongan ini. Terpancar wajah-wajah keriangan terutamanya krew dan manager yang tidak pernah ke sana.

Kami menginap di Hotel First World. Semua perbelanjaan termasuk hotel, makan, taman tema dalam dan luar serta tambang pergi balik menggunakan wang kemenangan. Pendek kata, semua ditaja lah! Pada malan tersebut, semua pengurus mendapat hadiah kejutan dari Kak Suria ... hadiah yang dimaksudkan ialah kami dibawa menonton aksi silap mata dengan tema “DreamZ”. Ternyata semua pengurus begitu teruja menyaksikan pertunjukan tersebut. “Terima Kasih Kak Suria" -- Dari semua pengurus sayap kiri dan kanan McDonald’s Greenlane!

Keesokan harinya, sesudah sarapan pagi di hotel, kami bertolak pulang ke Pulau Pinang. Walaupun berasa letih, kami semua menbawa kenangan yang paling indah semasa berada di sana. Doakan semoga tahun hadapan berkat sokongan dan kerjasama kami menjadi “JUARA” pula !!!

Azurina's Married!

Kami di Northern Dream Team mengucapkan SELAMAT PENGANTIN BARU kepada Azurina Bt Abd Rahman, manager dari McD Carrefour Prai dengan pasangannya Muhamad Syakir.

Majlis yang bertemakan warna oren berlangsung dalam suasana yang meriah dengan kehadiran OC - Elena, Eng Chew,Hong Chin,SM - Lay Yong,Safna,Hariza, manager-manager dan krew bersama-sama berkongsi hari bahagia mereka.

Sekali lagi Northern Dream Team mengucapkan "SELAMAT PENGANTIN BARU" ... Semoga berbahagia sehingga ke akhir hayat!

CEC Program - McD Caltex Sunway

On a bright & sunny morning (today), 11 cars and 4 motorcycles headed to the Sekolah Sinar Harapan located at Jalan Permatang Rawa Satu (Bukit Mertajam).

With a very enthusiastic team of 24 people from 5 stores, we were looking forward to bringing some fun and Raya cheer to the under-privileged children of this school.

This event was organized under the C.E.C program (Elena's mini market) but for the first time, we made this a community event as well.

With this in mind, we roped in all 5 Prai stores to participate in the program:

#116 Megamal Pinang,#125 Carrefour Prai,#174 Juru DT,#181 Caltex Sunway and #227 Jusco Seberang Prai City

All SMs supported by their Managers,CSMs,Star and Crew came to give their raving support. Even Kartina came to give a helping hand. Everyone was in high spirits and had fun bringing joy to the under-privileged children.

Sekolah Sinar Harapan is managed by a voluntary N.G.O body and the Persatuan Kebajikan Kanak-Kanak Terencat Akal Seberang Prai Tengah. The school mostly relies on donations from the public and the private sector companies even though it does receive a small annual grant from the Welfare Department.

The school was established on 6.1.86, with humble beginnings – using a converted car garage as its first venue. It only moved in to the current address in 1.6.00.
Presently it has 72 students, with age ranging from 1 – 21 years of all races/both sexes.
The school operates from 8:30am – 12:30pm (Mon-Fri).
These children suffer from various types of mild to moderate degrees of mental handicap (Down Syndrome/retarded/mentally challenged).

The school’s aim is to help these special children achieve independence (self reliance) and to lead an active life in society.

The school’s principal En. Mohamad Zubir Zabidi gave a welcome speech and thanked us for the visit, the contribution and time spent with the children. A lovely joget dance was performed by 6 children.

During ‘makan’ time, everyone had fun laughing and feeding or even just sitting down with them. It was during this time that we found out that Mgr Khairul #181 actually had a ‘fanatic fan’ from a lovely child named Adila - she called Khairul ‘Mawi’!

Later, goody bags and balloons were distributed to the children – this certainly brought more smiles from them! Hamburglar, Birdie and Grimace made special appearances as well.

Soon, it was time for us to leave. It was a sad feeling for some of us but we were glad though, that McDonald’s brought some fun and laughter to these children this morning.

And as we walked to our cars, we reminded ourselves to always be grateful for what we have.

And yes, we felt that “warm,fuzzy,good feeling” in our hearts, for having been part of this splendid C.E.C community program!
